1. Provide a Balanced Diet

A well-balanced diet is crucial for the growth, development, and overall health of your pigs. Make sure their diet includes the following:

  • Carbohydrates for energy, primarily from grains like corn and wheat.
  • Protein for muscle development, coming from sources like soybean meal or fishmeal.
  • Vitamins and Minerals to support their immune system and growth. Supplement their diet with vitamins like A, D, and E, and minerals like calcium and phosphorus.

Pigs should also have access to green feed, which is rich in fiber and helps with digestion.

2. Ensure Clean Drinking Water

Water is essential for digestion, temperature regulation, and metabolic processes. Pigs drink a lot of water—especially in warm climates—so it’s vital to ensure that clean, fresh water is always available.
